About Me
I am 27 years old origionally from Birmingham but have lived in london for the last 8 years. I am now back home in Birmingham and hope to bring my childcare experiences to a family who need support, household help and someone they can trust to be apart of their family. I come from a very small family who mean an awful lot to me and therefore know how important it is to make a home welcoming, safe and your own haven. I trained professionally as a dancer for 13 years and have now gained experience in the childcare industry. I am very active and love sports such as tennis and swimming, I love to learn about healthy eating and overall taking care of the body, I do go to the gym and yoga classes during my free time and love reading, doing puzzles and cooking using fresh ingredients and trying new recipes. I am a very calm and patient person and like to bring these personality traits to the children I work with, I have never believed in shouting as a method to help support a child but to simply communicate and understand why they're feeling a certain way. I am always happy to share ideas, thoughts and opinions when asked and think communication is key to form good relationships.
My Experience
I have worked in the childcare industry for nearly 3 years mainly based in nurseries. I love working with children and providing them fun but also stimulating activities to help support their learning development. I have mainly worked with preschooler age so I am very knowledgeable of the EYFS and how to implement each development stage to help a child flourish into their own unique character. I have also had experience being a housekeeper for a family of four and have had many other jobs in the past that have involved cleaning aswell. I am always up for a challenge and have always been in busy environments especially when working in a nursery. I am use to poopy nappies, outbursts of crying and snotty noses but overall I love my career and love being there to support the children and their families.
My Qualifications
- 7 GCSES, six of those GCSE's are grade C-A*.
- Dance BTEC qualification.
- Bachelors degree in contemporary dance.
- Level 3 qualified childcare assistant

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Afternoons/ evenings.

I am basing this from the pay i was receiving in my nursery settings, £8.50 but am happy to discuss hourly rates.
