My Requirements

**UPDATE **March 2024 **

Given the difficulty I've had trying to find childcare from mid April/beginning of May. I've now extended my leave / return to work until September 2024, in hope this will open up some more opportunity to secure childcare. See below:

I am still looking for a local Ofsted registered childminder to take care of my 1 year old son, fairly close to Leavesden, Harry Potter Studios (WD25 7), The Grove (WD3), Abbots Langley (WD4), Hunton Bridge or very close surrounding areas. I will need child care on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am to 5pm approximately from September 2024, or earlier, and if anyone could offer odd days leading up until September 2024.

As mentioned I have two older children (in year 1 & nursery currently) and childcare may also be required [at times] during school holidays for them. So if at all possible would hope this child minder might be able to accommodate them when needed. If not I'll explore holiday clubs.

It is my hope the childminder will have a smaller number of children in their setting and provide a home to home environment.

It is hoped the child minder will possibly go to baby/toddler groups or go out daily with child/ren for walks, to the park, library, trip to farm/zoo or indoor play areas etc at times. Provide a fairly structured daily routine which includes an activity, play time, art/craft activity, outdoor garden activities, reading, singing and dancing. Also provide all meals (breakfast, lunch and tea), cows milk and snacks within price where possible. Be non-smoking and preferably no pets, and be fairly close to WD25 / WD4, Leavesden, Abbots Langley or Hunton Bridge area (for additional two childcare drop off & collection points).

I'll have 3 drop offs when I return to work in May 2024 (until September 2024 (so location is important to me.)

** I am also wondering if anyone does a school drop off or pick up St Paul’s C of E VA School Hunton Bridge as this might be needed in the future. Exploring lots of options.***

***I recognise child minders take holiday (annual leave) throughout the year but I'm looking for a child minder that does not charge parent's when they choose to take leave preferably, including not charge for bank holiday's.***

*** The child minder accepts tax free childcare scheme and upcoming government 15/30 hrs childcare***.

It's my hope the childminder will treat my child/ren as they would members of their own family, creating a secure, safe and nurturing environment for my child/ren to grow and develop.

*** I recognise not all my preferences or tick boxes what I'm looking for might be achievable so would consider all options.***

My desired outcome as any parents would be, on my return to work, I can drop my child/ren off knowing and feeling that my child/ren are in safe hands while I go to work.
