The Best Start for Me and My Baby
Jean came into our lives when my daughter was just 3 months old.
I am a lone parent and so choosing a nanny was a process that took me alot of time and consideration.
I was exclusively breastfeeding but had two regular appointments to attend each week as well as work once a week and for a period of nine months Jean supported both me and my little girl through so much. From attending regular appointments to helping me with routines and developing my daughters fine and gross motor skills through play as well as advice around feeding and weaning...
My little girl hit every one of her milestones and her language and social skills are exemplary.
On occasion I became very ill and Jean would take over the care of my daughter while I slept and recovered.
My daughter had no bottles of milk and no dummy and Jean managed her early separation anxiety with such dedicated, professional and gentle care. It soon got to a point where I could count on Jean to play with her, feed her and put her down for a nap- like clockwork during my appointment- something even I couldn't achieve at the time!
She is the most wonderful mother and developed such a strong bond with my daughter- I now call her "our girl". I owe so much to Jean, my daughters happy and secure attachment, her confidence at nursery and going out into the world as well as our own bond of secure attatchement...
For a long time i developed really bad sleeping habits and Jean helped me put together routines and sat with me through the difficult nights and now I have a happy little girl who sleeps 10-11 hours a night as well as a 1.5hour nap through the day.
She does the work for the love of the children and there is nobody I trusted more with my daughter- even existing family members.
Jean was always on time, was never ill throughout our nine months and was very flexible with me over timings and changes of my own plans.
Some of my happiest memories of my daughters first year were with Jean and laterally her own wonderful children who I'm privileged to remain in contact with.
If you are in need of help, of any sort, Jean is worth her weight in gold and you will be so glad you choose her to care for your child or children. Her presence in our lives was a gift from God and I would not be the relaxed, happy and capable mother I am, without her.
