India has babysat my three children (6,4 and 20months) numerous times over the last five years. She’s looked after them for full days, or just come in the evening and has done their dinner and bedtime routine.
India has such a natural gift when it comes to children, she’s nurturing and always takes time to get down to their level and care for them. I think her talent is because she’s guided by empathy for what they are feeling (eg: understanding there is a root to most meltdowns), which I’ve found is quite rare in people without children! However she’s firm when she needs to be and my children respond well to directions from her: I don’t think anyone can get them to put their coats and shoes on so quickly!
Her creativity and playfulness makes her a wonder at games and play, or coming up with ideas for rainy day projects, or telling stories.
My three all love India to bits. We all miss her a lot now she has left cornwall!

India took over looking after our firecracker daughter (22 months) after her original nanny was taken sick. She handled the transition brilliantly and Margot absolutely loves her. Her gentle, sensitive energy is perfect for Margot who is high spirited and quite emotional! If Margot ever cries India comforts her and she’s smiling in seconds.
India always listens to our needs and responds with her easy going nature. We are both freelance and her flexibility has been key in making the relationship so easy.
She really keeps in touch sending updates and photos and I never have to worry about what Margot is doing or if she’s OK.
She is a caring, patient and creative soul and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
