Hello and thank you for looking at our page! We are a happy box of frogs family and this is our story.
We are Little Ones Playgroup and have completed the Level 3 HBCA (Home Based Childcare Award) course through Pacey, this has given us the knowledge to care for children in our own home and how to deliver the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages). In addition to this, We have an Enhanced DBS certificate, a full Paediatric First Aid qualification, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and Schemas. We have Public Liability Insurance and class 1 business car insurance. We are members of Pacey and Childcare.co.uk and they are there for advice for everything relating to childcare. We will provide regular progress updates, in line with the EYFS.
We are a husband and wife team, who have two busy little boys, Murray (6) and Kian (4). They both go to Infant School, one who has slightly higher needs and we are able to offer you experience in this.
My husband, Neil, is a teacher by heart with over 10 years experience in education. The children love having Neil around as he is a bit of a kid, himself! It is a huge benefit having a male in an early years setting.
We also have another fabulous Childminder, called Tracy, that works with us and she has over 20 years experience in early years childcare. Tracy is like the child oracle!
We also have 2 cats and a beautiful black Labrador, who is adored by all of the children we look after!
Before I became a mum, I was a cabin attendant working in Dubai. I am originally from South Africa and have been living in the UK since 2013. I love being here and this is firmly where my heart is.. where my family is.
We live in Mytchett and love living in the area, as it has so much to offer.
We have an amazing playroom, that is full of things to do and play, things to create, dress up and a place you can relax to read a book. We have painted the ceiling sky blue with white puffy clouds and little planes are flying (hanging) around. So even if its dark and grey outside, the sky is always blue in our playroom… at our playgroup.
We have a super, all season, garden for children to play in wind, rain or shine, that has recently been redone and now have artificial grass and a garden cover, that your little one can play in all year round.
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by an area of natural beauty. We are in walking distance of Frimley Lodge Park, Basingstoke Canal Centre and Ash Ranges. We also have a variety of smaller parks and playgrounds right on our doorstep. Our two boys love to go exploring, feeding the ducks, and walking in the woods to see who can spot squirrels, swans, ducks and robins (amongst other things).
We have a wide range of toys from babies upwards. There are arts and crafts, play dough, painting, drawing, dress up, puzzles, trains, farm and many more things to keep your little ones occupied. Outside we have a little playhouse, ride ons, chalk, swing ball, footballs.
Healthy meals, snacks and most outings will be included in my fees.
We are proud to offer the following:
Full time Childcare sessions
Part time Childcare sessions
Special Needs Experience

2 Year Old Free Childcare (FEET)
