About Me
I am married to Gary and have 2 children my son is 25 and my daughter is 20. I have been childminding since 2008.
I offer a friendly relaxed home from home approach to my setting. I encourage the children in my care to learn and develop through play. I will always try to give a flexible and personal service that meets the individual needs of your child.
I regularly attend local baby and toddler groups and try to visit the soft play centre once a week. Weather permitting we also try to get to the park as offen as possible.
I have toys to suit every age group and weather pemitting I have a secure garden for the children to play in.
I aim to provide the high level of care that you would be giving your children if you were caring for them. To do this I will work closely with you to optimise the care I give each child.
I aim to give the children in my care a relaxed but stimulating home environment where they can feel happy and secure and they can develop to their full potential.
Above all I aim to keep the children in my care happy, safe and healthy.
My Experience
I have 2 children of my own and have been childminding for 15 years, I have also spent some time volunteering at one of the local pre-schools.
My Qualifications
Ofsted registered
DHC1
Current First Aid Certificate
Safeguarding Children Certificate
CRB Enhanced Checked
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Thursday on a Full time and Part time basis.
If I have space available I also offer short term childcare.
I am able to offer 2, 3 & 4 year old funded clildcare.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour

I was really hesitant when going back to work and leaving my little girl with a childminder, then I found Sam. From the off Sam was a great communicator, we arranged an initial meeting and then from that had settling in sessions. My daughter transitioning into a childcare setting has been seemless! I couldn't ask for anymore from a childminder and that is only reaffirmed when I see my little girls face light up when she sees her.

I was very worried about leaving my 2 year old with a childminder as any parent would be but I can 100 percent say my little girl absolutely loves going to Sam's house. She has grown so much confidence wise, she enjoys going to the playgroups with Sam and the other children and Sam is very caring which I love!
Would highly recommend her to anyone looking.
