Hi I’m Elaine and I have 10 years experience of working in childcare. I have three children of my own aged 15, 11 and 1 year old.
I love to organise and carry out activities for the little ones and watching how they grow, develop and succeed.

My Experience
Hi I’m Elaine and I have over 10 years experience of working in childcare and a managed a nursery setting of 90 children and 10 members of staff for 3 and a half years.
I have an updated DBS and a level 3 in early years, I keep all of my training up to date going on regular courses. I have my first aid, level 3 in safe guarding children, SENCO training and my food hygiene.
I have SEN experience working 1:1 with the children giving them the care, support and encouragement they needed. I have supported parents and their child getting the extra support they’ve needed from outside agencies and have supported towards children’s EHCP ready for school.
Having 3 children of my own I think is the best experience as I can communicate and understand parents needs from a parents point of view with being a mother myself.
I offer settling sessions if required where I’m willing to meet on a paid basis before beginning to work to get to know yourself and your child so you will feel happy knowing myself, this also gives your child a chance to get to know me and a chance that I get to know your child more to. I think this is important as being a parent myself I know how daunting leaving your child in childcare may be.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in early years gained this at Newcastle college 2008.
I also have level 2 in team leading and keep up to date with all my certificates such as first aid, safe guarding children and food hygiene.

I’m currently available in school holidays and weekends.
