About Me
My name is Gunjan and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder.
With over 10 years of experience Including over 6 years running my own childminding from home. I am registered with Harrow Council. All Adults in my family are DBS checked. I have full public liability insurance.
My most recent Ofsted inspection (June 2018) provided me a rating of GOOD.
I live a few minutes walk away from Pinner Wood School.
I can provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. I aim to provide a balanced and healthy diet for all children who I care for.
I can provide both fresh cooked homemade food and also other choices depending upon dietary requirements.
My husband is my childminding back up assistant who is there to cover if required.
I have a 4 year old child.
There is an independent large room in my house measuring 7 metres x 5 metres with an attached bathroom which has a wet floor facility. There are various resources available for the children to make use of , such as books to read, stationary, educational games and toys, multicultural role play dressing up clothes, puzzles, train sets, wooden bricks, Lego sets.
Also I can provide children with new craft and painting activities to have a change in their day to day routine.
My aim is to provide parents / carers with peace of mind when placing their children in my care, knowing they are looked after just as they would be in their own home.
There is also a back rear outdoor patio and a big garden where children can play on swings and enjoy various outdoor activities.
The EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is followed at my childminding setting by observing, assessing and planning the children’s daily activities and progression accordingly by using online resources.
We also take children on trips with written consent by parents for example to the the park, library or soft play area and museum.
I have a very loving and caring home environment. There is a pet in the house (cat) who is inoculated.
My Experience
I attend regular courses to ensure my skills and knowledge are upto date. This can include e.g. regular Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Courses for my childminding practice.
I have been in the childcare industry for over 10 years, having wokred with various daycare nurseries and taken care of children in their homes.
For over 6 years I have been running my own childminding setting.
I keep myself updated with the EYFS so I can deliver the best care and support for your child.

My Availability
I am available from Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 6:00 pm.
I do Morning School drop offs and Afternoon pick up's from Pinner Wood School.
We can do afternoon Pick up's from West Lodge School as well.
I can provide childcare service during holidays and half term breaks.
It needs to be discussed much in advance with the parent.
