About Me
Hi my name is Linda. I have completed my HNC in Early Education and Childcare and I am a qualified child practitioner. I currently work full-time in a Primary School in Ardrossan. I feel offering my services on this website will allow me to build up even more experience and allow me to display my skills and abilities.
I am available for babysitting, evenings and weekends. During working weekdays (Mon-Fri) I am available from 3:30pm.
I am caring, trustworthy, honest, reliable, and friendly and enjoy working with children. I am able to be flexible in working, in order to suit parents and carers.
At the school I work at now, I previously worked in the nursery there which I really enjoyed. Now I currently work in the active learning area in primary one at the same school, which encourages fun and interactive learning, meeting individual needs, and I feel services such as babysitting would be ideal to help build a strong profile. I also gained experience working in various nurseries as and when required throughout North Ayrshire.
I obtain a PVG disclosure and I am a member of SSSC.

My Experience
As previously stated I currently work in a Primary school in Ardrossan in the active learning area in primary one where I previously which encourages fun and interactive learning, working on meeting individual needs.
Previously I worked in the nursery of the same school in Ardrossan, which I loved. I was able to work as a keyworker getting to know the children, their likes/ dislikes and help them to achieve their goals through providing fun and educational learning.
I also work as a supply staff in various nurseries around North Ayrshire, which allows me to work with a wide range of children in a number of establishments.
My experience as a student was working in two nurseries on a 1 year basis each, over two years; these were nursery classes within schools. I extremely enjoyed my time at both nurseries and formed good relationships with both staff and children.
Some of my duties included; providing a wide range of fun and educational activities for the children, adhering to policies and legislation at all times, putting the child’s welfare first above all else and to be a positive role model.
