Our daughter went to Lisa full-time from the age of one to four years old and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the care that Lisa and Paul provided throughout this time. Our daughter developed into a confident, happy, polite child with a strong foundation in the skills (verbal, numeracy, social, emotional) she needed to move on to reception.
We were particularly pleased with the nutritious range of home-cooked food and snacks provided, the dedicated play cabin, and the wonderful range of thoughtful activities that were put on each day. We would look forward to the daily end of day report and photos, safe in the knowledge that our daughter was receiving the best care while we were both at full-time work.
Before we were lucky to find Lisa, we had contacted and visited most other childminders and nurseries in Buckhurst Hill, Woodford Green, and North Chingford. We ended up going for a childminder to get certainty of who would be looking after our daughter versus a nursery setting, with potential unpredictable staff turnover/ absence and what we thought would be an overwhelmingly large, busy setting for our daughter at this early age. Lisa and Paul are leaps ahead of other childminders in the area. The ratio of children to carers is brilliant and ensures considered attention for each child, all of whom are in the same age range.
Lisa and Paul are both very warm, thoughtful, caring childcare professionals. They genuinely love children in their care and the role they can play in their care and development.
From a planning/logistics perspective, they let us know their holidays for the year in January, and throughout this time have not had other occasion to not be available. They have also been very understanding when unforeseen issues have cropped up (Central line cancellations!)

Overall, we couldn't recommend Lisa and Paul enough. We now send our youngest daughter there too who is having the same brilliant experience.
