About Me
As a mother myself, I am extremely passionate about children knowing their value and believing that they are capable of anything. My focus is on providing children with a strong foundation of self-worth and confidence to ensure a love for learning is possible. I have taught in well-established schools, which has enabled me to develop a deep understanding of adapting to the unique requirements that each child presents. Ensuring their mental wellbeing is a priority along with being able to reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have 10 years teaching experience across Reception to Year 5. I specialise in EYFS & KS1 Phonics, English and Maths. I also have experience working with children with additional needs.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education- BA (Hons) EdStud.
I have an up to date DBS certificate & am also trained in Paediatric First Aid.
My Availability
I have availability for tutoring, school drop-offs and collections with use of my personal safe and reliable car.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
My rates are inclusive of travel costs.

Steph is an amazing tutor! Before she started, my Grandson was behind with his reading it was a struggle to get him to read 2-4 pages. Now he reads an entire book with her during their weekly lesson after school. Steph has vastly improved his phonics, spelling and grammar. along side these skills his reading fluency has also advanced significantly proving just how effective your after school tutoring has been. From day one we noticed her encouraging yet firm support. She combines a kind personality and endless patience with a professional and punctual work ethic, makes lessons engaging and fun, and always listens to family feedback to ensure his success.
