About Me

Are you having a baby? I would love to help you and your baby to have the best start.

My name is Diane, I'm warm, kind and truly care about all “my babies”. I'm in love with my job and feel very lucky to help new parents to have the best start. I’m very positive person, feeling very happy and competent around babies and always trying to update on my free time to continue my training (there is always something new to learn)

Experience working with high profile families and fully staffed houses as a maternity nurse, 12 years experience. Previously I was a nanny for 15 years.

I have a deep interest in the individual learning and personalities of children, as not all the children are the same. I believe in a good and gentle routine where daily situations, meal times, nap times, bath time, etc. are structured but always happy to adapt my practice to suit the parent’s beliefs and needs.

My aim as a Maternity Nurse by the time I leave your home is that you as a new parents feel happy and confident enough to look after your baby without any help. Of course I’m always happy to discuss any worries you may have after I left.
I offer my services as a Maternity Nurse helping parents looking for a support in your home after the birth of your child/ren during the first few weeks, to ensure a pleasant journey for everyone involved.

My duties involve:

*Practical help with care of the baby/s (winding, nappy changing, bathing, dressing/undressing, settling to sleep)
*Information and support with infant feeding (whether breast, formula or mixed feeding)
*Assist you in stablishing a good and gentle routine adequate for you and your baby as not all the babies or families have the same needs.
*Setting up sleeping patterns and caring for the baby thought the night if you need, so you can get a good night sleep.
*Sterilising and making up the bottles for your baby if you are bottle feeding or expressing milk.
*Teach you safety and hygiene around the baby.
*Proxy parenting if you need to travel during my booking.

We came across Diane when a good friend of ours bought her for us as a present for two nights so we could get some sleep. We had just become first time parents to twins and the shock of looking after them had hit us like a ton of bricks and the thought of getting a good nights sleep was just amazing. Since then Diane has been with us for a number of weeks as a night nanny and to put it mildly has saved our sanity! She offers endless advice and is so loving and caring with the babies. We trust her completely with the twins and we are able to shut off and get a good nights sleep which is invaluable. I would highly recommend Diane to anyone for her knowledge, experience, kind nature and professionalism.
