We desperately need to find a nanny this summer after our current one has handed her notice in!
It’s sort of on an adhoc basis over the summer, we basically need a nanny to accompany us and look after our 3 children, aged 6, 10 and 11, whilst we attend three festivals in July and August.
We’ll pay £500 per festival, as well as cover all entry, food/drink and accommodation at the festivals. Myself and my husband have been avid festival-goers for a while, and over the last few years our nanny has come with us to take care of the kids so we can properly enjoy ourselves. We love to get involved in the powerful energetic atmosphere live music provides, and you just can’t do that when you’re looking after 3 young kids.
We’d want the nanny to take care of all childcare responsibilities during the festivals, including getting them up, washed and fed, entertaining them throughout the day (the festivals we’re attending have good kid activities going on so shouldn’t be hard), and then putting them to sleep. You’d be sharing accommodation with them as well, so if they get up in the night, which sometimes our 6 year old does, you’ll have to sort as me and my husband are in a separate tent.
We will of course check in with you and the kids over the weekends, but really we’ll be off getting involved in the festival vibes, so it’s very much the case that you’ll be the main carer!
If everything goes swimmingly and the kids take a shining to you, and if you want it of course, there is the opportunity for you to become our full-time nanny after the summer, but we can discuss that afterwards.
Ideally you’ll have at least 3 years experience in being a nanny also. Happy to have a trial day but really does need to be ASAP. Look forward to hearing from you!
