About Me

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am an experienced, Ofsted-registered childminder with over 21 years of working in childcare. I am passionate about providing a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and happy to learn and grow.
I live with my husband, our two daughters, and our two friendly cats, creating a welcoming, family-oriented setting that truly feels like a “home away from home.” I believe children thrive in a caring and relaxed environment where they can explore, play, and build confidence at their own pace.
My setting offers a wide range of fun activities, outings, and enriching experiences designed to support children’s development across all areas. From creative play and messy activities to outdoor adventures and local trips, every day is full of opportunities for learning through play.
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and have up-to-date training in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and safety at all times.
I strongly believe in working in close partnership with parents to ensure each child’s individual needs are met. Open communication and collaboration are at the heart of my approach, helping to provide consistency and support for every child in my care. I also follow the EYFS
