About Me
Hi my name is Christine, I’m an Ofsted registered childminder and a qualified EYFS & KS1 teacher.
I have 3 children, a 10 year old, 6 year old and a 1 year old.
I opened Bramble Wood Early Years in 2019 after 10 years of teaching. I love creating activities and exploring with the little ones in my care. We are an animal friendly, home from home setting. We have a garden with a play area and we enjoy spending time outside and learning through experiences and most importantly through play!

Our boy recently left Bramblewood Early Years, but I felt the need to come on here and make sure that anyone searching for a childminder knows - that you've found an absolute gem!
Christine is the most competent, most caring, most diligent and most genuinely compassionate childminder. We were so lucky to have found her.
Our little boy flourished at Bramblewood, his and the other children's learning and development was continuously at the forefront of the days plans - and it showed! He really looked forward to his days there, leaping in the car at the mention of Christine and his friends.
As a parent, I had no doubt in my mind what so ever, that my son was safe, he was stimulated and his needs were catered for to an outstanding standard with Bramblewood. - I cannot recommend enough.
We'll miss you Christine!! :)

Our daughter started at Bramble Wood when she was just 8 months old. Being born in lockdown and still in lockdown by the time I was going back to work was very scary. We were not able to visit the childcare setting however Christine was amazing from the first meeting in her garden! I was so nervous but this amazing childcare setting has made such an impact on our daughter’s life. Christine is a caring and warm person who knows everything about children. Our daughter is a super confident and very chatty girl which we believe is all down to the interactions and activities she did at Bramble Wood. I felt completely at ease that not only was our daughter safe in her hands, but I knew that she was having fun too. We would not recommend anyone else!
