This childminder looked after my child for one full day and one settling-in session, which we prepaid in advance. Unfortunately, without any prior conversation or warning via the Tiney app, I received a notification to “learn about your child’s day.” In that update, the childminder stated that my child was not a good fit for her setting.

I found this approach quite upsetting, as I would have appreciated a direct conversation beforehand. My child also told me that evening that they had been shouted at, which raised further concerns.

Overall, I found the experience unprofessional and disappointing. I would have preferred clearer communication and more consideration in how concerns were handled.
