Hi, I’m Helen and I'm a part-time student at UWE. I was born in the Czech Republic but I have been living in the UK for 4 years now. As a future Counsellor, I’m patient, reliable and trustworthy. I believe every child is an individual and should be cared for like a little adult. Sometimes it’s complicated with them but we still love them and sometimes we learn a lot from them. Above all, I’m also experienced with cleaning - spent 5 years in customer support and in the field (cleaning houses and apartments).
My Experience
I've had the pleasure of engaging in childcare over the past few years. From 2018 to 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to be a live-in nanny for a wonderful family overseas for 18 months. Two of the three children had special needs, and I did my utmost to provide them with the care they deserved. Even now, we maintain a close bond, and they feel like my extended family in America. Bringing that same warmth and care to families here in Bristol would be a joy for me. Additionally, in 2021, I spent three months babysitting for a family in Wales. Recently, I had the pleasure of babysitting two delightful girls in Cardiff throughout 2023, twice a week along with some weekends. I'm happy to provide letters of recommendation from all my recent families upon request.
My Qualifications
I do not have any formal qualification besides AuPair in America Training, but I’m also autism experienced, assisted a therapist for year every Monday for three hours.
