Hi! I'm Emily.
I’ve not long relocated to Wivenhoe from Surrey, and am looking for a lovely family to help with their childcare needs. I am hoping for a full time position, though am willing to discuss this further.
I am a level 3 qualified nursery nurse, who has experience working with children under 5 years. I am also paediatric first aid trained and enhanced DBS checked.
Unfortunately I do not drive, but am happy to walk or take public transport when and where required.
I thoroughly enjoy a range of activities, including that of playing a range of sports (climbing/bouldering), cooking, reading and socialising with friends. I also really love spending time with (and spoiling) my niece and nephews when at home.
My Experience
I have a number of experiences within the childcare sector, including that of voluntary roles in a youth club and a primary school whilst taking my GCSEs.
During college, I gained two years experience working with children from roughly six months to seven years of age. Simultaneously, I was also employed as a party host at a local soft play centre and a part time teaching assistant whilst studying.
I have now been qualified for a few years and have gained lots of experience working with children under 5 years. I have just spent a year at a wonderful nursery in Surrey, which I sadly had to leave due to relocating.
I would love to find a family to get to know and help on a more personal level, and to support their children to become independent, curious and kind individuals.
