Thushani and her family were truly like an extension of our own family. From the very first moment, she made me feel completely at ease when I was leaving my son in her care. As a parent of a first child, it'a never easy to trust someone new, but Thushani is genuinely trustworthy and caring.
Every day she took the time to give me a proper handover - answering all my questions, reassuring me, and sharing details about my son's day. She was always professional, kind, smiling, understanding and patient but also consistant and firm when it came to routines and discipline which my son benefited from greatly.
My little boy often mentioned how much he loved her delicious home-cooked food. Thushani also took beautiful photoes every day, which she shares with me - they've become a lovely gallary now hanging on our wall and I've even made a photo album from them.
We have since moved to another town and honestly, there are moments when I still feel emotional thinking about her and her wonderful family. We miss you! People like Thushani are rare in childcare - warm-hearted, reliable and truly exceptional.
