We feel incredibly lucky to have Sophie she is such a wonderful childminder. Over the past two years, Sophie has cared for both of our children with so much love, patience, and dedication. From the very beginning, she created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where our children have thrived.
She genuinely cares about every child in her care and her kindness, attentiveness, and nurturing nature have given us complete peace of mind, knowing our children are happy, secure, and well looked after each day.
Not only has she supported their emotional development, but she has also encouraged their learning, confidence, and independence through a variety of engaging activities and experiences from play groups, park days and visits to the farm. Our whole family absolutely adore Sophie and as parents, there is no greater comfort than knowing your children are being cared for by someone who is loving, trustworthy, and truly passionate about what they do. We cannot thank her enough for the positive impact she has had on our family and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional childcare. We are so sad to be leaving such an amazing childminder.

There aren’t enough words to properly describe how amazing Sophie has been as our childminder over the past 9 months.
From the very beginning, she has been warm, kind, and genuinely caring, and we have always felt completely confident leaving our son in her care. She creates such a nurturing and happy environment, and it is clear how much she truly cares for the children she looks after.
Sophie does so many varied and engaging activities with them, always keeping things fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate. We have been especially impressed with how much she has helped our son develop his understanding of colours and numbers during his time with her. It has been wonderful to see his confidence grow.
She also provides consistently lovely, nutritious, and tasty meals, which he always enjoys.
We are only saying goodbye because we are relocating to the US; otherwise, we would have loved for our son to stay with her much longer. We feel very lucky to have had her as part of his early years, and we cannot recommend her highly enough to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

Our son was with Sophie from 11 months to 2 years old, and we couldn’t have been happier with the time he spent there. Sophie offers a real home from home environment, in which she takes so much care in organising fun activities and outings for the children. It’s obvious how much Sophie cares for the children she looks after and they are made to feel part of her family. We always looked forward to the detailed daily updates and photos that Sophie sent us, and she was brilliant at communicating with us. It felt like the perfect place for our son to begin his childcare journey and he absolutely thrived over the year he was with Sophie. He clearly had such a wonderful time with her as he always came home smiley and full of confidence and often with a lovely piece of artwork that he had made while with Sophie! We very sadly moved away which is the only reason why we didn’t stay with Sophie for longer. We couldn’t recommend Sophie highly enough and wish we still lived nearby so that our daughter could go there too!

Sophie is the most wonderful childminder. Our son was in her care from 11 months - 2.5 years. She provides a home away from home where we knew our son was happy and cared for. Sophie builds such a lovely bond with the children she looks after and is so incredibly warm, caring and patient with them.
Sophie puts so much thought into the activities for the children; how they will encourage their development and support their learning. Our son loved all the creative play and making as well as lots of time outside in her engaging garden and allotment. Our son's development rocketed while with Sophie; a result of her attentive care and teaching. It's amazing that Sophie takes the children on days out, making the most of what’s in the local area and beyond, providing such an enriched experience. Communication is excellent and we received daily updates with pictures and a summary of the morning. Sophie always took time at the end of the day to pass on how the day has gone and any observations she’s made. Highly, highly recommend!!

We couldn't be happier with our daughter's experience at Sophie's. She started nearly two years ago aged 11 months and settled in quickly thanks to Sophie's care and kindness. Sophie is warm, fun and friendly but also extremely professional with excellent clear communication. Her setting is bright and clean with a fab range of toys, books and resources and a great outdoor space for when the weather is good. Our daughter has loved all the different activities planned by Sophie and we are so pleased with how much she has learned and developed. We've always felt confident that our daughter is happy and safe with Sophie and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sophie. Her care of my daughter was excellent and she loved going to ‘Sophie’s house’!
She has learnt so much, doing new things every day and her confidence developed hugely over the time she was with Sophie.
Every day was a different fun game or activity and I always felt completely confident leaving her with Sophie knowing that she was being well looked after and having fun!

I've nothing but praise for Sophie and her childminding service. She is absolutely amazing with the children and I wouldn't want anyone else looking after my little one.
So much thought goes into their day covering a wide variety of learning, activities and fun.
My little girl can't wait to go to Sophies, we talk about her and what we do most days! She has come on so much with her speech, confidence, knowledge of colours/objects/learning and I can drop her off knowing that she is having the best day :-)
