I am a 27 year old female living in Clapham, originally from Norfolk, available for emergency babysitting and nannying weekdays and evenings from Tuesday 6th February on an interim basis as I am in between jobs.
In my spare time I like to keep active playing touch rugby, running and attend my local church HTC.

My Experience
I am a warm person who is proactive, calm, patient, clean, reliable, punctual but also knows how to work under pressure and find solutions to problems. I learn fast and I am flexible. For me the most important thing is to have children safe and happy.
In my free time at home in Norfolk I enjoyed volunteering weekly as a leader of my local church youth club working with children aged 7-16.
I have also babysat regularly for a family (for 2 young boys - 1 with Down syndrome). I come from an extensive family where I am used to be around kids all ages.
More recently, I have helped out as an emergency babysitter for SW London based families particularly during school holidays.

My Qualifications
I graduated from Oxford Brookes with a 2:1 in BA Philosophy. I have 3 A-Leves in Philosophy A, English Language B, Psychology C. I have 11 GCSEs - 2 A*, 6 As, 3 Bs and received the Head Teacher’s award during school for my overall academic and extra curriculum contribution such as being a peer mentor. I have also achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.

Laura is a confident, competent, responsible, charming and fun childcarer. She looked after my two children (10 and 7) for one day during a school holiday and they really enjoyed her company. Laura also communicated well in the lead up to that day so I had no doubts about leaving my children with her.
Overall
Laura worked for us for a few days as an emergency nanny for my two young girls (1 and 2.5 years old) and one young boy (5 years old). She was warm with the children and had a positive work ethic.
Laura was very friendly and enthusiastic from the outset. My children took to her immediately, so I was able to get on with my work in peace. She read books, played games, took them to the park and generally kept them entertained.
Laura was also punctual and communicated well via phone and text.
I would definitely use her again!
