About Me
Hey! (I am currently only taking on families who would like consistent babysitting, please consider this in your search). My name is Abbie and I am currently studying at the University of Huddersfield. I am in my third and final year of my bachelors degree with a career goal of Educational Psychology. I also work part time as a SENCO support worker.
I have an array of childcare experiences across all ages and first aid qualifications.
Currently, I can only offer weekend and evening availability.

My Experience
I currently tutor GCSE level for all sciences and English literature and language as well as KS2 and KS3 science, maths and English. I also volunteered at girl guiding for 4 years and took on leadership roles there. As well as this I have worked in KS1 at a primary school as a volunteer.
I now have over 1 year of specific babysitting experience with consistent clientele. I have worked with ages from 7 months to 12 years old including up to 4 children, twins and children with additional needs.
In the summer of 2022 and 2023, I have worked down in Kent as an excersion and activity manager at St Andrews Language school and then worked in Edinburgh as a welfare coordinator.
Additionally, I work as a SENCO support worker at a college so have lots of experience with a range of additional needs.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I usually charge £12 but this can vary depending on hours required, regularity, additional duty's (like driving), tutoring and if you require overnights. Please get in touch if you require a quote since every family is unique!

Abbie has been absolutely fantastic at managing to get three girls up and ready for school. The girls really enjoyed her fun and relaxed approach. Dependable and thoughtful.

Abbie came to help me whilst I was off my feet with a broken ankle and a seven month old baby. She was great at entertaining him and he responded really well to her. She also was happy to pick my daughter up from school. We don’t have family close by and it was great to have someone that the children felt happy with.

Abbie is a calm and a charismatic person that makes you trust her from the first moment. My name is Steph and i do have twin boys who are 19 months old.I was really reluctant to ask from someone apart from my family to babysit my little ones.Abbie won my heart from the first moment she walked in my house. I was a bit worried because my little boys Theodore and Hector are not good with people they don't know but she managed to make a connection with them from the first day.She is really supportive and caring.She is brilliant with them enthousiastic and full of energy.She is reading to them,playing with them and making them happy. She is reliable and she never let us down, I cant recommend her enough.
