About Me
I am a friendly, caring and animal loving 25 year old, doing a PhD at the university of Bath. I have previously worked in China teaching ESL in a kindergarten (children aged 3-7). Also prior to moving to Chippenham I was a part time nanny to a family with 3 children (8month old, 3yo, and 5yo) for nearly 3 years. I hold a paediatric first aid certificate (valid till October 2025). I am energetic and enjoy spending time with children, I am creative, reliable and although new to this website I have been babysitting for over 10 years now and have a wide base of clients that would happily vouch for my services. My Experience
I have worked as an ESL teacher in a kindergarten in China. Following this I have nannied for a family for nearly 3 years prior to my move to Cambridge. My mum was a childminder so I used to help her with the little ones at all the opportunities I could get, this has given me experience with a wide range of children from 3 months old to secondary school age, looking after multiple children at once. I have also had experience through volunteering at local gymnastics and dance clubs, guide and scout groups and local schools.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc degree from the university of Warwick, an MSc from Bristol university and a full clean drivers licence. I had a DBS check a few years ago, but am happy to do another one if it is needed.
My Availability
I am available for one off or semi regular babysitting, I am happy to work at last minute notice.

Amelia was great and my son loved her. We certainly be booking her again.
Overall
Amelia kindly agreed at short notice to look after our 10 month old daughter during our wedding reception. She was excellent throughout and our daughter had an absolute blast playing with her. We would have no hesitation in recommending or using again.

Amelia came to help out at my brothers wedding as we had a 3mth old and a 17mth old and wanted some peace whilst we had dinner. We decided to book her for the whole day in the end and what a treat!
She met our eldest the day before and he loved her straight away! She was great with distracting him so as we could have space and really engaged with him all day. Not to mention looking after and feeding our smallest as well as getting both of them to nap on such a busy day! Miracle!!
I would recommend her highly! Super flexible and way to talk too.
