So grateful to have found them

Nikki and Sophie have been amazing since the very first enquiry. Having been recommended by a friend and colleague whose daughter is the same age I knew it would be a good experience.

They both did all they could to ensure my daughter (and me) felt calm and comfortable from the first settling in session. Now nearly 18 months on, I can’t imagine leaving my daughter with anyone else. I trust them completely and she totally loves them, she is clearly so happy and exciting to spend her days there.

Both Nikki and Sophie have been so supportive of me as a single parent, and helping navigate eating and sleeping challenges and now - toilet training!

I love the fact they spend so much time outside and do a range of activities too, this on top of being a small group, for me, means it surpasses a nursery setting hands down.

They are so encouraging of all aspects of my daughter’s development, and are not shy of telling me when she has been less than angelic! Managing tricky toddler behaviour in a kind yet firm and educational way. Helping our tiny humans learn to manage their feelings and behaviour. It has been so helpful to discuss these, thankfully minor and rare, incidents honestly and ensure we are on the same page.

I have no doubt my daughter will continue to flourish in their care.

Nikki and Sophie are exceptional childminders

We cannot recommend Nikki and Sophie highly enough. From the very beginning, they have provided a warm, nurturing, and loving environment where our daughter has truly thrived.

Our daughter absolutely adores them, and it is clear to see how much they genuinely care for all the children in their care. They have built such a wonderful bond with her, and she is always excited to spend time with them.

Since being with Nikki and Sophie, we have seen a huge growth in our daughter's confidence. She has become more independent, social, and willing to try new things, all thanks to the encouragement, patience, and support they provide every day. It has been amazing to watch her develop and flourish in such a positive environment.

As parents, the greatest compliment we can give is that we trust Nikki and Sophie 100% with our daughter. Knowing she is safe, happy, and cared for as if she were one of their own gives us complete peace of mind. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication are second to none.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Nikki and Sophie, and we are so grateful for the positive impact they have had on our daughter's life. They are truly exceptional childminders, and we would recommend them without hesitation.

Couldn’t be happier

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our daughter has received with Nikki and Sophie. They have created a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where our child has felt safe, happy, and valued.
The variety of activities she provides has helped our daughter develop socially, while having lots of fun along the way.
Communication has always been excellent, with regular updates and genuine enthusiasm for our child's progress and achievements.
It gives us complete peace of mind knowing our daughter is in such capable and caring hands.

Simply amazing childcare!

Our daughter started with Nikki and Sophie at 18mo and she's now 4 and a half. Nikki and Sophie feel like family to her, she loves them dearly and they love her! There's so many things they do on days out, so many new experiences... a great nurturing environment, we trust them 100% and I appreciate the great communication they always keep with us (pics, updates...). Fantastic childminders!

Home from Home

Nikki and Sophie have had our daughter from 9 months old.
We are regularly kept up to date with her progress, and her development in the last 15 months has been exceptional.
More importantly, our daughter is happy to go here and is always chatty and smiling when she’s collected, it’s like a home away from home for her.
I cannot fault any aspect of the service they provide, I couldn’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else.

Home from home environment

I can not tell you how anxious I was leaving my child for the first time but I should never have worried, he was is the safest of hands with Nikki and Ash.
Because of lockdown and the lack of socialization my son struggled with settling in but they were so patient with him and now he walks in himself without looking back at me.

A very relaxed couple and nothing is any bother.
I love that it is a home from home environment and you can genuinely feel that they care for your child. My son Rory has developed lots of skills and independence from being at the setting.

Updates and pictures throughout the day, especially at the start, are greatly appreciated.

The Absolute Best Childcare

Theo first started going to Nikki and Ash when he was 5 months old, work commitments meant I needed to leave him earlier than I wanted to but he settled in straight away and we have never looked back. He is now 20 months old and every time I drop him off, he is more than happy to go in and leave me behind! That to me is everything I could have wanted, after all; a happy baby is a happy parent!
Being an only child, I love the fact Theo gets to interact with other children but in a homely environment. The crafts, baking and days out are all things I wanted him to be doing. We are not a stay indoors family so it was important for me to find someone that would take Theo out and be active with him. He is also lactose intolerant, nothing has ever been too much trouble to provide him with nutritious, home cooked food.
Its just so heartwarming to see how happy he is here and I have never had a day of regret for leaving my child with Nikki and Ash.

Oustanding

Nikki has looked after my two children (8 & 6 years) for the last 5½ years and over those years the kids have made so many memories... As a full time working mum there is allot of mummy guilt, but the pictures & updates I get sent when there out and about or crafting just makes the guilt feel slightly less because I know they are in safe hands and having huge amounts of fun. The days out over half terms are always a highlight but the kids are also content with doing fun crafts, baking, playing out door games or going exploring in the woods! No matter what the age of the child they all play so nicely together...
When choosing a childcare provider I knew I wanted the kids to be in a homely setting, Nikki & Ash certainly deliver on this and always go above and beyond for which I am very grateful for.
Following a recent parents evening with my youngest's class teacher, she also commented on how both Nikki & Ash treat there child-minded children like their own and how happy my youngest looks at drop off and pick up... "Money well spent" was the teachers closing statement.
I can not recommend Nikki & Ash enough....

Splendid Childcare

My wife and I are ever so delighted and grateful for Nikki and Ash for taking such splendid care of our son. Their setting is lovely, clean, friendly, fun, flexible, and trustable. We have been kept informed about the progress and how the day is running. Our son is progressing and developing very well in the setting. Honestly, we could not have been any more fortunate and relax-minded as we are now that we know how our son is receiving the utmost care.

I recommend it, unreservedly, to anyone looking for a perfect childcare setting.
