Hi, I live in Scotby, in a 4 bedroom house with my fiancé, Mark. We have a secure garden, summerhouse, and a playroom for the little ones with the usual toys to keep children happy and engaged. I am particularly passionate about the outdoors, healthy eating and the value of having fun whilst learning.
My experience with children comes from being brought up in a family business of childminding for 30 years, but recently I have been working within Child Protection and Safeguarding through charities, police and military settings. I am now hoping to enhance children's well being within a home setting.
I am new to Cumbria, recently relocating from East Sussex and keen to start a new business, so I am currently flexible in what hours I can offer. Until my Ofsted registration comes through (due to COVID there has been a delay) I am only available for Nanny duties, Mothers Help and Babysitting. My Experience
My background at home is Childminding through my parents family business but professionally I have a Social Work/RAF background, safeguarding, supporting victims of abuse, fostering, and now childminding, behavioural and nutrition qualifications.

I am single mom and when I wanted to return to work full time I was worried about finding a reliable and capable childminder for my 9 year old daughter Emily who has significant learning difficulties and other specific requirements. I found Nina on here when she lived with her partner Mark In Battle, East Sussex and it was the best decision we ever made as she is truly fantastic. I did not have to worry about her at all in all of the 8 months that she used to look after Emily, including taking and picking her up from school, feeding and entertaining her after school until I could pick her up on my way from work. Both myself and Emily were very upset, especially Emily, when Nina said that herself and Mark were moving up to the Lake District, especially Emily who had grown a very strong relationship/bond with her which she struggles to do normally because of her disability. We sooooooo miss Nina, and both myself and Emily keep in touch to see how she is doing. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Nina as a childminder, just wish she would move back down here! She doesn't know I've done this review but I felt compelled to pass on just how great she is.

My son goes to Nina's 3 days a week. He loves going and Nina is so lovely . Trustworthy and sees to his ever need while his in her care . I honestly couldn't have picked better .she helps him with his school work and supports his interests. Such a big help for a busy working mum. Big thumbs up from me 👍.
