The best childminder

Katherine looks after my two children, ages 3 and 1. She takes excellent care of them and I know they will always be happy and safe. The environment is immaculate, spacious and organised. Katherine has a wide variety of toys for different ages, the children enjoy arts and craft activities - also outside play. The children often go on days out and explore. Katherine always keeps me updates throughout the day and uses an online system to document the children’s progress. The children have book bags and are given new books to read each week at home. The bag is always filled with print out activities and artwork they create. The children are offered a wide variety of food. Katherine always goes the extra mile and I would recommend her service to anyone seeking childcare

Excellent childminder!

Katherine stepped in when my daughters nursery kept closing due to covid. I immediately fell in love with the children's playroom and their bright outdoor space.over the few days she was there they went to parks and forests- and I got lovely pictures sent to me! I decided end the nursery and it was the best decision for us. I'm not the most organised person and many times Katherine's saved the day so I can get to work. My daughter had the best time and was always exhausted after a fun filled day. Defo would recommend to everyone!!

Amazing Childminder!

My children aged 11 & 5 have been with Katherine for the past 7 years. Katherine started caring for my daughter when she was 4, at this time I was pregnant with my son who is now 5 & has been with Katherine since he was 6 months old. I was so glad I found Katherine on childcare.co.uk, having had a previous childminder for 11 years I was really hesitant about the switch over, however on our first meeting with Katherine I knew instantly that my children would love being in her care. Katherine's clam & friendly persona made my children at ease instantly & really comfortable in her home, she has a wide array of toys, alongside learning & development tools (creative play, books, musical, sensory, educational, play doh, dressing up, mud kitchen, swings, outdoor play toys etc) for babies right up until high school. Everyday Katherine would organise different activities for all the children, weather this be in-doors or outdoors, Katherine always makes sure whatever the weather the children are learning, having fun, as well as getting outside for fresh air, even in the rain playing in the puddles which my children loved to do! Katherine's home is a great set-up, very clean & hygienic, all safety measures are in place for younger children, she has a dedicated space especially for the children she cares for which is an inviting fun environment. Katherine makes home cooked meals everyday, she also explores lots of different foods for the children to try & always ensures they have a healthy balanced diet whilst in her care. Katherine has suitable transport for providing childcare & would often take the children on days out to local parks for picnics, to the farm to see the animals, to soft play areas etc which my children love. Katherine is really flexible in her approach to childcare which makes my life as a working parent totally stress free, she is reliable, conscientious, hard working & ALWAYS puts the children first. She is amazing & I really couldn't ask for anything more, my children love being in her care, she treats them with so much love & always goes out of her way to ensure they have the best time whilst they are with her. My children view Katherines like a second home, they are part of her family as she is to ours & that feeling can't be beaten for any parent leaving their children everyday. I highly recommend Katherine, I would give her 10 stars not just 5!
