I am always good at identifying a child's needs and then tailoring my practise to ensure it best fits around the children who I look after. I work in a flexible and adaptable manner , always putting children at the centre of my care. I also plan exciting experiences. Moreover, I am a creative individual who thrives in new and challenging environments. As a nanny I love being given constructive criticism as it allows me to identify gaps in the way in which I work, before then building on this so I have a greater understanding. I am very professional, organised, sensible and a great listener. Overall I am confident in my practise I will always find a way to make memorable moments. I have a strong passion for making people happy and I will always be the best I can. Most importantly I am very observant. This helps me to eliminate any risks or dangerous situations but also to seek out fun play ideas.
One thing about me is that I always love being in the outdoors and being active. Growing up I have been very sporty. I started playing football for my local club and then I found my love for skateboarding. From this it has led me in to wind surfing and snowboarding. However my favourite hobby is cooking. Ever since I was a little boy I had always wanted to be a chef, so now my dream is to become a nanny and then in the future I want to open up a cooking school for children.
I am currently studying at Norland College and have completed my level 3 childcare. within these courses I have worked in a range of Nurseries, baby rooms, a range of years in primary school and I've had 4 weeks in too special needs schools. outside of the course i Have nannied for too twin 9 year olds one being in a wheelchair. this is challenging but has also turned out the be the most rewarding job. I have also done a lot of baby sitting which includes preparing food and night time routines.
I have a level 2,3 and 4 early years qualification and I'm currently working towards my level 5. I am Also first aid trained and have a valid DBS
I am very open to negotiation as I've got a lot of free time at the moment.
