My Experience
Family 1 -regular babysitter 2014-2017 in Spain.
I have worked as a regular babysitter for many years, starting as a teenager in Spain. During that time, I was responsible for tasks such as pick-ups, changing diapers, and feeding bottles, taking the child to the park, and organizing a play date.
Au pair November 2019-August 2023 for a few host families. (Family 4, Family 3, Family 2)
More recently, I have been living as an au pair since November 2019. In this role, I am responsible for dressing infants and toddlers, bathing them, and providing general childcare inside and outside the home by ensuring the environment is clean, safe, and secure.
Maintain their daily schedule, such as drop off, pick up from school, and extra activities they do during the week. Performs light housework, by keeping children’s room and play areas tidy. Also, encourage them to have healthy habits and hygiene. Leads children in fun activities.
Helps with homework and tutoring as needed.
In addition to this, I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I have been working for them as a Junior Nanny, helping them with some light housekeeping, and taking his 8-month-old boy to baby classes.

Andrea helped me for a couple of nights, to look after our 16mo toddler for a few hours in the evening. Aside the very professional approach (Andrea is DBS checked, provides reassuring info upfront and doesn’t hesitate to meet in person or via VC for introduction), Andrea got on very well with our baby boy who was pretty tearful at first given he doesn’t normally like new babysitters. Andrea’s patience and overall experience (she’s full of tricks and techniques to calm upset babies) played a huge part in our son smoothly adapting to her and within the first hour he was falling asleep in her arms.
Really recommend Andrea (though I hope she will not be too popular as I’ll call her next time we are in London and need a babysitter!).

Andrea lived with us as a nanny for just over 1 year and returned for a month, several months later to help us with our toddler and newborn. She is completely trustworthy, competent and efficient. She can manage many things at once including multiple children and always made our house run more smoothly. Extremely organised and reliable. Anyone would be lucky to have Andrea taking care of their kids.

Andrea was amazing at babysitting our 20 month old. She had her own arts and crafts that engaged him, she took him to the park. She kept me updated the whole time and I felt very reassured. She is confident in what she does and is calm and actively engaged our little one the whole time. Thank you Andrea
