Hi, I'm Jenny, and I have been working in special education and childrens residential for almost twenty years. I am passionate about childrens wellbeing, safety and happiness. I love arts, crafts, messy play, sensory play, baking and generally making sure children have lots of fun. I have a patient, calm and caring nature with a passion for ensuring children are heard, happy and encouraged to reach their potential in what inspires them.
My Experience
I have worked in Nursery, Primary School, Secondary school, College, Special and additional needs schools and settings, and childrens residential. I have a vast range of experience of working with children and young people on the autistic spectrum, children with additional learning needs and children with complex needs. I have enjoyed running childrens after school clubs and Beaver Scout groups, as well as choreographing dance groups in youth clubs. I have supported groups of children in drama, which has been an absolute pleasure in watching their confidence and skills grow. I have a genuine love of working with children and my enthusiasm is very plain to see!
My Qualifications
I am qualified to GCSE level. I am qualified at Level 3 in Childrens Play, Learning and Development. I hold an array of certificates in various qualificatiosn that include:
