Sandrine was the first childminder my son, now 6, had at 13 months old, after my maternity leave ended. At the time, socialisation had been minimal for him due to COVID, and he was very timid outside of family members. Sandrine's home from home really brought him out of his shell and gave him the secure, welcoming environment he needed to feel safe playing, learning, and having fun with people outside our family. It quickly became clear to me that Sandrine believes discipline means teaching, and she gave my little one so many learning opportunities during our 2 years with her. If I could have taken her with us when we moved, I would have; it was so hard leaving her support. As a solo parent, I could rely on her to make sure the little one had everything he needed to thrive while I was away. Her kindness and support were invaluable. We love Sandrine so much that we visit whenever our schedules permit; that is the positive impact she's had on us. Thank you so much, Sandrine; you are a true gem of a person.
