I am a childminder in the Upton (WF9) area of Wakefield. I live with my partner Tom and our two children - Maiya aged 5 and Alby aged 2. I started The Playhouse Upton as I feel very passionate about children’s learning and development and feel that this should be done in a safe and nurturing environment.

I have 6 years experience working with children within different settings. I currently hold the following qualifications:
- Level 3 paediatric first aid training
- Designated first aid course
- Level 3 home based childminding
- GDPR in early years settings
- Level 2 food safety hygiene
- Everyone over the age of 16 has a current and clear enhanced DBS
- Full medical check
