About Me
I’m an artist and mum and live with my husband and 2 children in Ware.
We are looking for a part-time Nanny for our family for around 12 hrs a week depending on hourly rates. We would really like someone who wants to settle with the family for at least a year.
We are open to discussing how the hours could be divided over days so it can work for both us and yourself. In terms of role - an example split may be 8 hrs with the little one , 2 hrs with both girls and 2 hrs with the older.
We have 2 girls. One is almost 3 year old (previously in a nursery setting but currently not) and a 5.5 yr old entering y1 at school.
They are highly imaginative, deeply caring, assertive, fascinating little girls with big personalities. They love being at home in imaginary play, or playgrounds.
I do lots of craft and arts activities with them and forest walks or park trips.
We work from home in a garden office so we would be around.
We have a small garden and terrace house but lots of open space nearby.
We are looking for a nanny who has a strong understanding of or a lived experience of neurodivergence or invisible disability.

My 26 month old girl has been with Bobby just over a year now and we are very sad to have to leave her care due to change in family needs . We had imagined our daughter being with Bobby through to starting school. Bobby has a wonderful temperament, calm, gentle and kind. Bobby’s patience and commitment to support our daughters (initially) very tricky sleep, separation anxiety, and sensitivity due to lack of time spent with other babies during first year of her life in the pandemic was outstanding. Bobbys attitude and practice during the covid outbreaks has been excellent, ensuring everyone has always been as safe as possible, being very careful and following up to date advice. Her environment is clean, and, importantly feels like a calm homely environment. I think there is good choice for the children and she properly plays and engages with them in a fruitful and genuine way. My daughter’s language , numeracy and social skills have advanced well and she has been a happy child when I pick her up at the end of the day. We will miss her.
