I am a recent University graduate having achieved a First Class degree in Costume Design. I am a creative, fun and outgoing individual with a real passion for working with children. I love theatre, film and drama and feel these are brilliant tools to build children's confidence and self expression! I will always come up with fun and creative ways to keep your child entertained and happy within a safe environment. I am a trustworthy, caring and empathetic person who is punctual, safety aware and sensitive to the individual needs of every child. I am conscious of keeping homes tidy and clean after play, ensuring routines are kept in place everyday and that the children feel cared for and well adjusted.
I like to get to know each family well and help in any way I can to guarantee children feel safe and reassured especially during this difficult time. I hold a current DBS certificate and am currently working within a school. I also have a full driving licence and access to my own car. I have also completed a Covid19 Awareness Course.
My Experience
I am currently working within a school providing support to students through their education. I am an Arts Technician, working alongside students studying drama, art, music etc, helping them harness their craft and express their individuality. In this role I am responsible for carrying out risk assessments ensuring safety of students, planning and organising trips aswell as dealing with sensitive information on health and circumstances. I'm currently looking into the potential of becoming a Textiles Teacher. I also have experience working with child actors and caring for their needs on film sets. The support needed for child actors to feel safe and secure during a busy film set was at the upmost importance; ensuring they had a voice in every decision made.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Hons degree in Costume Design from Wimbledon College UAL.
I have a CPD certified Coronavirus Awareness Training Certificate.
I have a current DBS Certificate.
I have a full Driving Licence and my own car.

We have requested help from Jess during Easter break. She was extremely punctual, responsible, funny, caring, friendly and so lovely.
My daughter spent wonderful time with her. She is a very talented art teacher as well, so they have done lots of very creative sewing activities and craft on top of everything else. I was able to work peacefully when my daughter was with her. My daughter now looks forward to the next time that she will spend with her.
