Helena was our night nanny for 3 months immediately following the birth of our first child and she was brilliant. It was obvious from the start that Helena was highly experienced and competent so we could get some proper rest confident that our daughter was in safe hands. Likewise, as novice parents it was great having Helena to answer our (numerous) questions and give advice. We were particularly keen to establish a routine early on and to encourage the baby to sleep through the night as soon as possible since I was returning to work after 3.5 months. Helena provided great support with this including tips about how to structure activities and naps during the day so the baby would be tired at night, and gently stretching out the time between feeds. Much to our delight, by the time Helena left our baby was sleeping 11.30pm to 6am. Perhaps most importantly of all, it was a pleasure having Helena in our house - she somehow manages to be kind and good fun but also discreet and respectful of your privacy. We cannot recommend Helena highly enough.

Overall
Helena was with us for the first 2 weeks of our baby’s life on 24/6 basis. She is an extremely warm and caring lady and we loved having her around. We are lucky to have a very calm baby so ended up not needing extra help in the end. We would recommend Helena without any hesitation.

The household was quiet during the night which allowed for rest.
The twins were kept clean well fed and rested contentedly.
Helena was respectful, calm and gentle. She got on well with entire household.
She kept the twins surrounding clean as well as other used areas.
She took the initiative to help out when needed even beyond her job description.
She's was a real good addition to this journey with our twins and I would recommend her to any mother who's looking for a calm gentle transition of their babies into the family.

From the day Helena started she integrated into our lives so seamlessly. She instantly built a rapport with our 5 month old son and made him feel very comfortable around her.
Helena always went above and beyond what was expected of her. Our son had some feeding difficulties early on which meant we were busy week after week with doctor appointments, making it very hard to keep on top of the day to day home stuff. Helena took a lot of the stress away by completing all of the tasks we had set her related to our son as well as helping us with the cooking and cleaning and shopping.
We are so grateful to have found such a loving, caring and gentle maternity nurse like Helena. We would highly recommend her to anyone.
