Bowlee Sport Centre, Gym Assistant
Manchester- July 2017 – July2017
I volunteered at Bowlee Sports Centre as part of their summer programme for children. This rewarding experience taught me many valuable skills such as teamwork and problem solving as I had to manage unexpected situations. Working with children from a variety of age groups put me in a position of trust and allowed me to become versatile. My main responsibilities when being a gym assistant involved planning and delivering activities, taking attendance, delivering awards and snacks to children, sharpening my communications skills and confidence.

(August 2021) WJEC Level 3 Diploma in Criminology
I’ve had the opportunity to be a Teaching Assistant for the Religious Studies Department at Cardinal Langley Roman Catholic High School, during my first year of A levels. This experience aided me to improve my soft skills such as computer skills, that I enhanced by using analytical apps such as excel. Also, I managed resources and workload for the planned lessons while managing my own college work, this included stock taking and addressing missing equipment, which enhanced my time management and preparation skills, giving me an insight on how demanding work life is. Due to my understanding of the Polish language, I was sought after to translate key terminology to a few EAL students who had emigrate from Poland. I was able to further their education through tutoring them while developing my leadership and group management skills at the same time.
