I am Amy and I am 21 years old. I am a third year primary education student living in Dundee. I have a full PVG and can provide references.
My Experience
I have been a long term babysitter for a family for 4 years. With this family I have helped to cook meals, do bath times, bedtimes, taken the children on activities and days out. I have babysat for children with ages ranging from 1-9.
I have been on three school placements during my teaching training at Dundee University. I have experience volunteering in nurseries, and working in a primary 1, 2, 4 and 6 classroom.
I currently work for Scrapantics, where I run loose parts play sessions in parks and communities around Dundee.
For two summers I have been an activities coordinator at summer holiday clubs where I have planned and ran sport and arts activities for all primary school aged children attending the club.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying for my MA Education at Dundee University. I am in third year of this course, and have completed five placements, three in a school classroom, one in a nursery, and one at Scrapantics, which is where I am now working.
I have completed 5 National 5s, 4 Higher and 2 Advanced Highers.
My Availability
My availability depends on my University timetable but will usually be free during the week.
