My Experience

I am a mum to a grown up daughter of whom I am very proud of her achievements, principles and grace. I am also an aunty to many nieces and nephews who I adore and love to spend time with them on outdoor activities, reading, talking, and playing all sorts of games. I have taken care of friends children too from babies to teens, providing excellent care.
My first placement working as a nanny was to a b6 and g3.5 and I was able to support with home schooling, reading, school run and homework with significant results. Proud to say that the little boy achieved many house points and commendations for his progress in reading and school work.
For the little girl, it has been an amazing experience to see her thirst for knowledge and explore learning in a creative form. She is able to write and do very basic maths all picked up through play and fun activities I have done with her. The children have really enjoyed my term with them, so much that they do not want me to leave and regularly chant best nanny ever! The parents have told me that I have made a difference in a positive way which is very rewarding to hear.
I have worked with several families since and recently I have had the pleasure of working with a family for just over a year, G4 and G2. Both adorable, fun and embracing young life with passion. I have formed a strong bond with both girls and parents, thus creating trust and a happy environment for all.

My Qualifications

I am committed to every job I do and always try to go above and beyond. Whilst I currently do not have any official qualifications, I do have plenty of experience and excellent personal and professional references.

First, I am a mum and I know and understand all that we feel about our children, and like yourselves only want the very best for them. Their safety in my care is paramount to me. I am patient, tolerant and able to connect with children so they feel safe and know that I will look after them.

I am creative and have provided entertainment, learning and development through natural resources whether it be in the park or the car or walking down the street. I utilise those moments of boredom for them with a chance to ask questions, discover, explore or just to have fun. During lockdown we did not visit any playgrounds but made our entertainment through nature, a few props and heaps of imagination. The children loved it and it really helped them to think of ideas and also occupy themselves too.

I have worked previously in senior or management roles overseeing lots of people on teams. I have utilised my skills in development, training, co-ordinating and listening and adapted these to serve best for the children I look after.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
