About Me
Hello, I'm a final year student studying early childhood studies at Bath Spa University working towards my level 6 early years graduate practitioner qualification! I am looking for some additional babysitting alongside my part time job and studies! As well as having a passion for working with children, I have many hobbies - including baking, spin, cheerleading and playing piano.
Although I am not a professional cook - it is something that I am good at and enjoy doing!
I am looking to help families in anyway possible and am comfortable with cooking, bedtimes, nappy changing and toilet support and also creating engaging fun activities to keep children entertained!

My Experience
I have over 5 years experience working with children from 5 months to 12 years old! I have been a babysitter for family members, parents friends and friends of their friends - I come from a big family with 2 full brothers and 6 bonus siblings from ages 6-18 so I am well equipped with all ages including newborn/babies! When baby sitting for families I have experience with looking after children with SEN also.
Every year with my course I spend one day a week on placement within a early years or education setting - during first year I spent this time within a year 5 class! By carrying out so many placement days by the time I graduate i will be level 6 qualified in early years.
Before attending University I was working as a nursery assistant with children from 5 months - 4 years. I was mainly based within the toddler room but would help other rooms that required assistant. Within this role I would help with meal times, setting up and planning activities that would link to EYFS, nap times and also safety on any trips out of the nursery.
I also used to volunteer with a Beavers group for 4 years and became a young leader running sessions for them as well as supporting some of the beavers with SEN and ASN to make sure that they were confident with the activities and also the badges they were working towards!
My Qualifications
I have obtained GCSE's and completed my Access to HE - Education Diploma with 42 Distinctions and 3 Merits. I have also completed year 1 and 2 of university (Level 5).
