A warm and welcoming family based in Leicestershire are seeking a nurturing and proactive nanny to join their home and care for their twin boys (with the mother) whilst on maternity leave and after more independently when mother goes back to work (and 4 year old during school holidays). The 4 year old girl is curious, creative and full of personality. She loves reading, swimming, imaginative play and learning. She is caring towards her brothers and her two dogs. The twins are 7 weeks old and thriving. The role is for a live in nanny and would ideally be a permanent contract to support the family until the boys go to pre-school or school.

The family are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging children through age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity, exploration and confidence. Their home is ideally located for fun and varied outings, and has lots to offer on-site (swimming pool, climbing frame, garden for playing, tennis court, bikes and lovely local walks). This role would suit someone organised and hands-on, who is happy to take initiative with planning while supporting the smooth running of the household. Responsibilities include maintaining family spaces, managing laundry and preparing nutritious, family-friendly meals, so confidence in cooking is essential. The family place great value on trust and professionalism and seek someone who can provide a high standard of care, including proxy parenting when required, offering reassurance and consistency.
Location of the job: Leicestershire
Minimum experience Level for this job: 2 years looking after twins and ideally 10 year’s experience in childcare although if less and a good fit please apply.
Hours of work: 8am-6pm 5 days a week. Ideally the candidate would be open to doing some weekend work and also joining the family on holiday.
The children: 2 boys aged 7 weeks and a 4 year old
Pets in the home: 2 dogs (whippets)
Accommodation: Nanny Flat adjacent to the house with private bathroom, bedroom,
kitchen and living space.

Pay: Dependent on experience
