Full-Time Nanny – Warm, Active Family in Guildford (2 children: 6 & 4)

We are a friendly, down-to-earth family based in Guildford looking for a warm, energetic and proactive full-time nanny to join us long term and become a part of our family life.

Our two children are:
- A 6-year-old boy, home educated with support from a tutor several times a week
- A 4-year-old girl who attends nursery part time

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, organised and involved, and who brings enthusiasm, positivity and a calm sense of responsibility to their work.

Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
- Guaranteed hours
- Salary guide: from £42,000+ gross, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate

Start date: Mid-January (some flexibility)

The Role
Your focus will be the children and their routine. We have regular cleaners, so housekeeping is light and child-related only.

The role includes:
- Preparing healthy lunches and dinners for the children
- Children’s laundry and keeping their spaces organised
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities, outings and play
- Supporting daily routines, including nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
- Helping maintain a calm, structured and happy day
- Being genuinely engaged with the children and their development
- A tutor supports our eldest several times a week, so no formal teaching is required — just a steady, supportive presence.

About You
This role would suit someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and enjoys an active family life
- Has solid childcare experience (professional nanny, nursery, school or similar)
- Is confident caring for two young children
- Is organised, reliable and takes initiative
- Is happy to travel with the family on pre-arranged holidays
- Is open to occasional weekend care with notice

We’re very open to someone earlier in their nanny career who is keen to grow, as well as more experienced nannies who value flexibility and a warm working environment.

A driver with access to a car is strongly preferred to help with logistics.
