Over 10 years of experience working with children from early years though to GCSE years. I am a very experienced teaching assistant who has worked and cared for children with a wide variety of needs particularly those with additional needs with autism and social and emotional needs. I am a very calm, patient and caring personality that has proven very successful in all of my roles working with young people. I also have a degree in Health, Community and Social Care Studies, where I specialised in the provision of extra support for young people's mental health and well-being within the education sector. I also have experience and qualifications within mental health and tutoring particularly for those young people with a diagnoses of dyslexia. Therefore enabling me to support children with their home learning/work whilst babysitting them if wanted/needed, as well as finding and creating fun and engaging activities for them to enjoy whilst in my care.
