About Me
Hi, I'm Imogen! I recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class Degree in German and Italian, with a Distinction in Oral Work. I am available for work in London Thurs-Saturday and in the greater Sussex area Monday-Wednesday. I am a passionate linguist and lover of literature and other cultures! I have over 4 years of experience working with young people to help them improve their language and writing skills, including preparation for 11+, GCSE, A-Level and just for fun! My core belief as a tutor is that confidence is 80% of the battle - if we can get you feeling confident about languages, then the rest comes so much more easily! Our sessions will be fun but productive, and students often see an improvement in not just attainment, but also their general feeling towards a subject, in a matter of mere months. I love working with young people and learning about their passions and interests, and it truly is such a pleasure to watch them grow to love a subject which once caused so much anxiety. My Experience
I have 5 plus years of tutoring experience, both in East Sussex and Bristol. This includes tutoring and babysitting children with additional needs. I am also an animal lover and experienced with dogs, cats, horses and just about anything in between! I have a car so am able to travel.
