About Me
I have three adult children
My eldest son has a diagnosis of ADHD / ASD therefore I have experience,skills and knowledge in dealing with a child where they may have additional needs. I am a single female with no commitments. I hold a current enhanced DBS, I am registered with the Care Council in Wales. I love the outdoors, I like to walk, go out on my paddle board and even attempt the odd run, even if it is badly! My friends would describe me as reliable, supportive, nurturing, loyal, easy going, fun loving and a person who has a positive outlook on life. I am not a registered childminder, however I am a nanny, and have been in this role since 2021 where I have supported lots of families in different ways. I think it is important for children to be cared for in their own homes where they feel safe and are familiar with their surroundings and routines. I also offer a babysitting service. I am happy to familiarise myself with the children free of charge, as I think it is important for children to feel comfortable with their carer. I have a personal statement, references and am able to give access to any documents should you require.
My Experience
I have experience in working with children from birth, and knowledge around what a child needs to grow up into a healthy and stable adult in terms of emotional,social, physical, educational and psychological. I also have knowledge and experience with my own son who is neuro divergent and the strategies on how to manage behaviour and how to meet his needs. I have also been involved in caring for family and friends children from birth.

I was very sceptical about finding a nanny for my 6 month old baby. My baby acquainted with her very quickly , which I consider as her plus point. Although my baby is a mama girl, she doesn't show any reluctance to be with her Nanny. Helen finds out the likes or dislikes of children. And she always make sure to update me with the care given or the activities they done. She look after my 6 year old boy too. We don't need to instruct her what she has to do for the children , as she find it out before we tell her. I am really happy to hire her for my children.
