Hi, I’m Rachel! A 34 year old fully qualified Primary School teacher, specialising in early years education and care.
My character is one of fun, creativity, enthusiasm, empathy, kindness, patience and encouragement. I also readily use initiative, am organised, conscientious, adaptable, proactive with a strong sense of integrity which sees me as very reliable and trustworthy.
My Experience
In 2009 I graduated from Northampton University with a BA(Hons) in Early Years Education, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). From 2009-2010 I successfully completed my Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) year and am now fully registered with the General Teaching Council of England (GTC).
Since then I’ve had a break from teaching to pursue other opportunities (including returning to study at Durham University), but have always maintained my keen interest in and real passion for education and childcare.
Now I’m looking to return to working with children again, initially outside of a formal school setting with the possibility of returning to teaching sometime in the future.
I am currently available to offer a range of childcare services including: nanny, babysitting, and private tutoring.
My Qualifications

My Fees
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I also offer private tutoring across the primary age range (3/4 years old in nursery to 10/11 years old in year 6). The rate per hour for this service is £15.00. However, all fees can be negotiable.
