About Me
We are a friendly, organised family based in Farnham, Surrey, with two school-aged children. Due to work commitments, both parents spend periods of time overseas. My wife follows a regular rota of approximately two weeks away, two weeks back, and I am also frequently abroad.
During the weeks we are away, we are looking for a trustworthy and capable childcare professional who is confident taking sole charge of the children in our home. When parents are present, childcare support is not required.
We value reliability, clear communication, and someone who can provide a calm, structured routine for the children while maintaining a warm and supportive environment.
My Requirements
We are seeking an experienced live-in nanny / childcare provider to provide sole-charge care during school term time for approximately two weeks per month on a recurring basis.
Key responsibilities include:
• School drop-off and collection (driving is essential)
• Preparing meals and dinner for the children
• Supervising homework, evening routines, and bedtime
• General care and supervision while parents are overseas
This is a temporary but recurring role during the school term, with accommodation provided in our home during working periods. A full schedule will be shared in advance to allow for planning.
Requirements:
• Proven childcare experience with references
• Confident sole-charge experience
• Valid driving licence and comfortable driving locally
• Reliable, organised, and happy with a rotating schedule
