About Me
Miles of Smiles in Dore is located in the most sought-after neighbourhood in Sheffield, Dore! The setting is surrounded with nature, stream, and within easy access to the beautiful Peak District. We are team of 3 child practitioners and assistants. I am the owner and main child practitioner. I qualified as Registered Nurse 16 years ago, I work part-time for NHS Accident and Emergency department. We come from totally different professional background but we all share something crucial: a fascination with young hearts and minds, and desire to make a huge difference in children's lives.

We aim to provide your child a safe, warm and welcoming home-based environment. Through a wide range of activities and resources, children will be encourage to express themselves in a positive manner, develop independence and be challenge to maximize their potential. We are committed in providing a nurturing environment and the wellbeing and safety of the children is paramount.
Based in an excellent location, we regularly do library visits, parks, animal farm trips, museums and more. We also have the pleasure to be able to provide an outdoor space. Our setting is just a stone's throw away from the beautiful stream of Totley Brook, to facilitate learning and play the nature way!

My little boy attends during some of the school holidays and absolutely loves it! He literally counts down the days until his 'Miles of Smiles day'! Ann and the team are warm and caring - they go above and beyond to ensure your child is happy! Also very approachable and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The learning environment is lovely, a home from home feel and well-equipped both inside and out. Outdoor learning is also very valued and there is a woodland area nearby that they make regular use of - my little boy loves playing by the stream! There are also lots of trips out to - libraries etc. We buy the lunches which are varied, healthy and appealing to young children. Would definitely recommend Miles of Smiles!

My little one is so so happy when he’s attending his sessions! Always looked after, and having great fun. Ann is always happy to help , answer millions of my questions, she’s warm , friendly, professional and supportive. I couldn’t ask for better childcare for my son. Real home from home experience for our little pea. I would definitely recommend Miles Of Smiles ☀️🥰

My son attended holiday club during autumn half term. He totally loved it and the second we got home he was asking when could he come back. For a parent is the best feeling to know that child enjoyed their day and activities that the setting offered.
