I am a midwife but recently left the profession looking for something different. Passionate about giving meaningful, kind care that caters to the needs of the service user that is very difficult to achieve in the NHS. Really enjoy helping and looking after people, and what period in your life do you need more care and support than your early parenthood journey.
Couples that need overnight support with their new baby need look no further, I am a highly qualified professional midwife with 6 years experience and am kind, caring and flexible.
I am a midwife of 6 years, promoted to senior midwife where I was in charge of wards, as well as teaching student midwives. I worked in a trust with Gold ‘Baby Friendly Status’ and that means I am qualified to provide advice and support on all types of infant feeding.
Since leaving the profession in June, I have volunteered in a school teaching refugee children basic English so have a wide range of experience in babies and children.
BSc (Homs) Midwifery
MSc Midwifery and Women’s Health
Examination and Care of the Newborn (NIPE)
Currently available most of the time. My volunteering in the school continues, and is usually 9-12.30 weekdays though I am not sure how much longer I will be doing this as the class is dwindling as children are starting to be moved to their permanent homes.
