About Me
Aside from working in education, I have a passion for baking and often do this in my free time for events such as bake sales, birthday parties and other celebrations. I also like to read books, this allows me to nurture my imagination and learn new knowledge. Overall, my hobbies allow me to use my creative skills in different ways which is helpful when working with children as learning occurs through play and activities such as reading, painting, drawing and baking.
My Experience
My degree in early years education has enabled me to further my understanding of child psychology, development, education and care. This is important when working with children as it allows me to support children's overall development and learning. Whilst completing my degree I had the opportunity to complete a placement in a nursery setting, this experience allowed me to work 1:1 with children who needed support. This placement allowed me to get insight of working with children and how to tailor my approach to meet their overall needs. Due to this experience within education, I developed my skills in identifying educational needs and learnt how to adapt to new situations efficiently.
My Qualifications
BA Hons in early years education (2.1)
GCSES or equivalent (A*-Cs) in maths, English, science, textiles, religious studies, textiles, citizenship and ICT.
