About Me
Hi, my name is Sarah Collins and I am an ofsted registered childminder in Hull. I run Sarah’s Little Stars Childminding Hull and I have one full time space available, as well as wrap around care for Hall Road Academy.
I am a mum of 3 boys aged 11, 9 and 18 months, a step mum to two girls aged 17 and 12. We have a cocker spaniel called Nala, leaf insects called Jam, Bronco and Fred, and several pet fish. My husband is a civil servant, and we love to spend our weekends exploring and spending time together as a family.
We have a garden with a climbing frame, swings and a slide, and a play house for the children to explore. We like to explore outdoor areas, and I believe in a child led approach to learning through play.
I will be using a private group to update all parents on what we are doing, as well as sending out any information needed.

My Experience
I have three children at home, as well as my step daughters who spend a lot of time with us too. my eldest son is on the SEN register so I have personal experience with ASD and ADHD. I worked in a special needs school for a year, while I qualified as a special needs TA before I started working in a private nursery as a 1:1 with SEN children.
