About Me
Qualified teacher and experienced tutor that will help your child reach their target goals, whilst making learning fun and enjoyable. My teaching philosophy is student-centred; I tailor tutoring to your child's learning needs. Aside from focusing on academic content, I aim to build a positive relationship with students. I believe that more can be achieved through developing a mutual understanding of one another. I offer a patient, kind and understanding approach.
I have taught in all levels of education, from primary school level to KS4 (GCSEs). I specialise in:
- KS1/KS2 English/Phonics, Maths
- KS3/4 History and Geography.
I also offer childcare services. I love working with children and have several childcare qualifications. Aside from teaching, I have worked in nurseries looking after children ranging from 10 months to 5 years old. I am an advocate of the Montessori principles and encourage learning through play. I can also provide assistance with school work.
